United Stationers Keeps Dividend Steady

Business supplies distributor United Stationersannounced on Friday its third-quarter dividend of $0.14 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 8% from $0.13 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 13. The company has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2011.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.56-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.4% based on Friday's closing price of United Stationers' stock.
