Entergy Keeps Dividend Steady

Integrated electric power producer Entergyannounced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.83 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2010.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 3 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 8. The energy producer has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1988.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $3.32-per-share annual dividend, yielding 4.7% based on Friday's closing price of Entergy's stock.
