Stryker Keeps Quarterly Dividend Steady

Stryker isn't about to strike out on its dividend. The company has declared a quarterly distribution of $0.265, to be paid on Oct. 31 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 30.

That amount matches each of the firm's previous three declared payouts, the most recent of which is to be dispensed on July 31. Prior to that, Stryker handed out $0.2125 per share.

The firm is a habitual dividend payer. Since January 2010, it has raised its payout at the beginning of every year, lifting it from $0.10 per share to the current level.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.06 per share. That yields 1.5% at Stryker's most recent closing stock price of $70.87.
