Comcast Keeps Its Dividend Steady

Cable, entertainment, and communications company Comcast is holding steady to its dividend payout this quarter. The company announced this week that it will pay shareholders $0.195 per share of common stock, the same payout it's paid since April, when it raised its quarterly payout 20%.

Annually, this amount adds up to a $0.78 payout per share, or a 1.8% yield on yesterday's closing price. The quarterly dividend will be payable Oct. 23 to stockholders of record as of Oct. 2.
