The WhiteWave Foods Company Announces Closing of Offering of Class A Common Stock Owned by Dean Foods
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The WhiteWave Foods Company (NYS: WWAV) ("WhiteWave") today announced the closing of the public offering of 34.4 million shares of its Class A common stock owned by Dean Foods Company ("Dean Foods"), including approximately 4.5 million shares sold pursuant to the underwriters' over-allotment option. Following the closing of the offering, Dean Foods no longer owns any shares of WhiteWave common stock. WhiteWave did not issue any new shares and did not receive any proceeds as part of the offering. There are approximately 105.1 million shares of WhiteWave Class A common stock outstanding and approximately 67.9 million shares of WhiteWave Class B common stock outstanding, in each case based on the number of shares outstanding as of June 30, 2013.
