Safeway to Show How Splunk Software Turns Big Data Into IT, Security and Business Analytics at Gartner Catalyst Conference

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Splunk Inc. (NAS: SPLK) , the leading software platform for real-time operational intelligence, today announced that Splunk customer Safeway will speak at the Gartner Catalyst Conference 2013 in San Diego about how Safeway is using Splunk® software to improve service delivery and streamline IT operations. The session, "Splunk: Turning Big Data into IT, Security and Business Analytics at Safeway," will take place on Tuesday, July 30 at 10:20 a.m. PDT at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in room Elizabeth F.

Safeway will describe how Splunk software is used across its IT infrastructure to deliver valuable real-time and historical data analytics. The speakers will include Chris Jennewine, director of enterprise systems management, Safeway and Leena Joshi, senior director of solutions marketing, Splunk.
