EPS came in at $0.93. The eight earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.85 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.93 for Q2 were 66% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.56 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.92 for Q2 were 64% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.56 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 55.5%, 90 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 26.3%, 410 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 20.2%, 740 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
