Arch Coal Maintains Dividend

Arch Coal will soon be sending along another hopper full of shareholder payouts. The company has declared its latest common stock dividend, which is to be $0.03 per share paid on September 13 to holders of record as of August 30. That amount matches each of the firm's previous five distributions, the most recent of which was paid last month. Prior to that, Arch Coal was more generous, handing out $0.11 per share.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.12 per share. That yields just under 3% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $4.01.

Arch Coal is scheduled to discuss its Q2 results in a live webcast on July 30 at 10 am Eastern time.
