Globecomm Receives $1.2 Million Contract from a US Government Prime Contractor
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Globecomm Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: GCOM) , a leading communications solutions provider, announced today that the Company has been awarded a contract from a US Government prime contractor for its Auto ExplorerTM products valued at $1.2 million.
Under the terms set forth in the contract, Globecomm will supply 1.2 meter Auto ExplorerTM Lightweight Transport (LT) Terminals in a dual band (Ku and X) configuration with Life Cycle Support elements. The LT X-band solution is certified for use on the WGS military satellite constellation with multiple modem technologies. Deliveries will ship within the next 3 months.
