PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), announced today that it has promoted the following individuals to vice president and assistant vice president positions. The appointments include:

Irwin (Skip) Johnson - vice president and statewide office principal for Baker's South Carolina operations. In this role, Johnson provides oversight and operational responsibility, and direct support of new business opportunities. He is located in the Columbia, S.C., office.


Kenneth J. Collins, P.E. - assistant vice president, transportation design operations manager. Collins is responsible for design oversight for all transportation-related projects, client relationships and budget management in the firm's Ridgeland, Miss., office where he is located.

Jeffrey Douglas May, P.E. - assistant vice president and transportation operations manager. In this role, May is responsible for oversight for all transportation-related projects, client relationships and budget management in the firm's Ocean Springs, Miss., office where he is located.
