ARCADIS Water Division President Honored with ASCE Management Award
HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD),the leading pure play global engineering and consultancy firm, today announced Water Division President, Dr. Michael J. MacPhee, is the recipient of the 2013 John I. Parcel-Leif J. Sverdrup Civil Engineering Management Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). The award, which recognizes an ASCE member's contributions to the field of civil engineering, will be officially presented at the ASCE Annual Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina to be held Oct. 9-12, 2013.

The award, which was officially instituted in 1976, is intended to encourage leadership and management skills in the civil engineering profession. The presentation is made annually to a member of ASCE who has made a definite contribution in the field of civil engineering management while displaying high moral character as well as professional integrity.

MacPhee, who assumed the role of Water Division President Jan. 1, 2013, has 20 years of experience providing a broad range of water consulting services to municipal, federal, and industrial clients across the U.S. and abroad. He has served in key management roles since joining ARCADIS in 2002.
