RadioShack (NYS: RSH) reported earnings on July 23. Here are the numbers you need to know.

For the quarter ended June 30 (Q2), RadioShack beat expectations on revenues and missed expectations on earnings per share.

EPS came in at -$0.50. The 17 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted -$0.24 per share. Non-GAAP EPS were -$0.50 for Q2 versus -$0.21 per share for the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS were -$0.53 for Q2 compared to -$0.21 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 37.2%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -4.6%, 250 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -6.3%, 410 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $881.0 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is -$0.25.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $3.73 billion. The average EPS estimate is -$0.73.
