Verizon Wireless Launches 3 New Droid Smartphones

Verizon unveiled its latest Droid smartphones today through Verizon Wireless, with dozens of new features and prices starting at $100.

Verizon's most affordable offering, the lightweight and compact Droid Mini, clocks in at $100 with a two-year contract. While it holds off on several of the more expensive features, it's ideal for an entry-level smartphone user.

For $200, the Droid Ultra offers a borderless 5-inch HD touch screen, as well as a DuPont Kevlar fiber frame.

At the high end of the price line, the $300 Droid Maxx is a Verizon exclusive incorporating a powerful new battery for up to 48 hours of regular use. A separately sold wireless charger can eliminate the need for cords,.

All of the new Droid phones incorporate the latest technology, including a "Command Center" information overview, TV syncing and controlling, and cloud connectivity.
