Fidelity National Keeps Dividend Steady

Title insurance company Fidelity National Financialannounced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.16 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 14% from $0.14 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on September 30 to holders of record at the close of business on September 16. The title insurance provider has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2005.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.64-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.6% based on the closing price today of Fidelity National financial's stock.
