One of the most often overlooked ways to improve in Madden 25 is to create your own custom playbook. The default team playbooks that are available are generic and don't usually include the best combination of plays. Because of that simple fact, you will need to create a custom playbook for Madden 25.

Those that are dedicated to winning will have already learned a few of the best Madden 25 tips available. Again, the problem you will run into is the best plays are spread through 32 different NFL team playbooks. In order to form a dominant scheme, you will have to pick and choose your favorite plays from each playbook to form a sort of "super playbook."

One of the strategies that is most commonly used in years past to create a useful custom playbook is to simply buy a few Madden eBooks and head into practice mode. Once you figure out which plays you are most comfortable with within the eBook, look to a few free resources like our offensive strategy forum or our defensive strategy forum depending on which one you are building your custom playbook for. You can supplement the eBook plays with plays recommended by users on forums or YouTube.

Madden NFL 25 will allow you to use custom playbooks in connected franchise mode which was a feature that was left out of Madden 13. Everyone else in your franchise will be rocking a custom playbook with all of the best plays and formations. You will be at a huge disadvantage if you are too lazy to build your own.

Creating a custom playbook is easier than ever. It should take no more than 30 minutes once you have an idea about which types of plays you will be running. Constantly add new plays that you like while removing old plays which you don't use anymore. You are allowed around 400 plays in your playbook.
