Hasbro (NAS: HAS) reported earnings on July 22. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS details
EPS came in at $0.29. The 14 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $0.34 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.29 for Q2 were 12% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.33 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.28 for Q2 were 15% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.33 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 52.9%, 130 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 9.7%, 90 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 4.8%, 60 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $1.35 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.29.
