Blanket Purchase Agreement has $60 Million Annual Ceiling

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Accenture Federal Services (NYS: ACN) has qualified for a five-year management consulting Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to help federal agencies operate more efficiently and effectively. The BPA has a $60 million annual estimated ceiling.

The U.S. General Services Administration operates the BPA as part of its Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) program. The BPA allows any federal agency and other authorized users to leverage Accenture's management consulting experience to help improve an agency's performance in meeting mission goals.

Accenture's approach begins by working with clients to understand their issues and then designing and delivering solutions to generate the desired, measurable outcomes, drawing on the company's global and cross-industry experience.

The Accenture team includes small and large businesses, bringing flexibility to work across multiple contracts and federal agencies. The team will offer strategic planning, Lean Six Sigma skills and continuous process improvement capabilities to help agencies improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, deliver increased productivity and improved service levels, and achieve greater financial security to be more effective in today's challenging environment.

Accenture and its teammates are prequalified to provide a range of services, including strategic management and program evaluation; strategic business analysis, process and performance improvement; change management and training; and certification and recognition programs.

"Federal agencies are under increasing accountability standards, and face growing pressure to demonstrate long-term performance outcomes," said Elaine Beeman, who leads Accenture's U.S. federal management consulting work. "By helping drive efficiency and performance in the federal workforce, we'll ultimately help improve the value agencies deliver to taxpayers."

Accenture and its teammates also will coach and mentor government employees, transferring private-sector best practices to the federal workforce.
