Deluxe to Cut a Check for Another Dividend

Deluxe is opening its checkbook for a fresh round of shareholder payouts. The company has declared its latest quarterly dividend, which is to be $0.25 per share, paid on September 3 to shareholders of record as of August 19. This is in line with the firm's long-standing distribution policy; it has handed out that amount in every quarter stretching back to July 2006.

The firm has just under 50.4 million shares outstanding as of July 15, meaning that its total outlay for the upcoming distribution will be around $12.6 million.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to an even $1.00 per share. That yields 2.6% at Deluxe's most recent closing stock price of $38.08.
