Capitol Federal Keeps Dividend Steady

Financial services company Capitol Federal Financial announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.075 per share, the same rate it's paid since 2011.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Aug. 16 to the holders of record at the close of business on Aug. 2. The financial services specialist has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1999. It paid two special dividends in December 2012 totaling $0.70 per share.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.30-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.4% based on the closing price of Capitol Federal Financial's stock on July 17.
