Allied World U.S. and the American Professional Agency Launch Program for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

(APA, Inc.) have launched a medical malpractice insurance program for psychiatric nurse practitioners and physician assistants in the field of behavioral health. The latest in a suite of products developed specifically for mental health professionals, this program provides coverage tailored to the unique exposures faced by nurse practitioners and physician assistants providing psychiatric and mental health-related services when supervised by a licensed psychiatrist. Coverage mirrors that provided to psychiatrists by Allied World and APA, Inc., including legal liability, personal and advertising injury, privacy, and licensing board complaint coverage.
