Mintz Levin Represents GI Dynamics, Inc. in $52 Million Private Placements

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Attorneys in the Corporate & Securities Section of Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. advised GI Dynamics, Inc. on two private placements in which the company received commitments from investors in Australia, the United States of America and certain other jurisdictions to raise approximately $52 million.

GI Dynamics (ASX:GID), a Lexington, Massachusetts medical device company, intends to use the proceeds raised from the placements to fund its ongoing U.S. pivotal clinical trial and for general working capital purposes.
