Magnum Hunter Finds a New CFO

There's a new man at the top of Magnum Hunter's finance team. The company announced that it has named Joseph Daches as senior vice president and CFO, effective July 22. He replaces Ronald Ormand, who will remain with the firm in the twin roles of executive vice president-finance and head of capital markets.

Daches is a veteran finance executive, who has spent much of his career in the oil and gas industry. Prior to joining Magnum Hunter, he was executive vice president, chief accounting officer, and a director at Energy & Exploration Partners. Before that, he worked in various capacities as an executive at Willis Group Consulting and Sirius Solutions.
