Home Emergency Insurance Solutions Water Line Repair Coverage to be Offered to Dublin San Ramon Services District Customers
DUBLIN, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Home Emergency Insurance Solutions (HEIS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading administrator of home emergency repair service plans, today announced an agreement with Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD), a local water and wastewater utility. HEIS will offer optional water line repair service plans to DSRSD's 15,000 water customers that reside in single-family homes in Dublin and San Ramon.
HomeServe administers home emergency repair insurance policies and service plans throughout the country. The company currently has more than 146,000 customers in California who hold nearly 210,000 insurance policies through partnerships with area utility providers and under the Home Emergency Insurance Solutions brand name.
"We decided to work with Home Serve as a way to educate our customers about their responsibility for repairing their private water and sewer pipelines," said Vicki Goldman, Customer Services Supervisor at DSRSD. "Customers are often surprised and dismayed by the unexpected cost of repairs. We want them to know they have the option to purchase an emergency repair plan if their homeowner's insurance doesn't already provide coverage."
Policyholders have access to a Repair Hotline that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to bring local, licensed and insured Alameda and Contra Costa County contractors right to their home for repairs covered under the policies. The optional water line protection policies HEIS is offering to DSRSD customers are priced at under $5 per month.
