Kindred Healthcare CFO to Retire

It's time for Kindred Healthcare to get on the phone with its headhunters. The company announced that its longtime executive vice president and CFO, Richard Lechleiter, is to retire, effective Jan. 15 next year. To replace him, Kindred said it "intends to conduct a national search."

Lechleiter is a familiar figure at the company. He joined it in 1995 and for more than 11 years has served in his current position.

In the press release announcing the news, Kindred heaped praise on his work. It quoted Chairman Edward Kuntz as saying that his efforts "have helped us grow into a leading post-acute care provider in the country."
