They sure grow up fast, don't they? It seems just like yesterday when the iOS App Store first launched in 2008, with a modest 500 apps waiting to be discovered. Now, a mere five years later, we have almost 1 million different apps we can enjoy with the tap of a finger, and have seen some truly monumental achievements in mobile gaming along the way.
So to celebrate its 5th birthday in style, the App Store will be giving away five landmark games for a limited time. And not only does Apple think these games are the cream of the crop, but we here at Gamezebo also think they're not too shabby ourselves.
