UCP, Inc. Announces Public Offering of Class A Common Stock
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- UCP, Inc. (the "Company") announced today that it has commenced a public offering of 7,750,000 shares of its Class A common stock. The initial public offering price is currently expected to be between $15.00 and $17.00 per share. The Company expects to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 1,162,500 shares. The Class A common stock has been approved for listing on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "UCP."
UCP, LLC intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, such as the acquisition of land, and for land development, home construction and other related purposes.
Citigroup, Deutsche Bank Securities and Zelman Partners LLC are acting as joint book-runners of the offering. JMP Securities is acting as manager of the offering. The offering of these securities is being made only by means of a prospectus. Copies of the preliminary prospectus can be obtained from:
