Time Warner Cable Debuts TV Spot Featuring Cast of TV Land's 'Hot in Cleveland'

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In partnership with Viacom, Time Warner Cable is celebrating the return of the popular TV Land series, 'Hot in Cleveland', with the debut of a national TV spot created to highlight Time Warner Cable's TWC TV™ app.

The 30-second spot finds the show's four lead characters, played by Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Wendie Malick and Jane Leeves, discovering their flight to Cleveland has been delayed. Frustrated, one of the women says she wishes she could catch up on her favorite show, 'Hot in Cleveland'. Sitting nearby, Time Warner Cable's head coach, Bill Cowher, overhears this and introduces them to the TWC TV app on his iPad, which lets them watch select programming outside of the home, including 'Hot in Cleveland'.

"We're thrilled to partner with Viacom in bringing our customers the very best entertainment experience with TWC TV,"said Jeffrey A. Hirsch, Time Warner Cable's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Residential Services. "Customers won't have to miss a minute of the hilarious new season of 'Hot in Cleveland' on their favorite device whenever and wherever they are."

"All of us at TV Land and 'Hot in Cleveland' are excited to participate in this incredibly creative campaign," states Larry W. Jones, President, TV Land. "Time Warner Cable has come up with unique ways to utilize casts from hit TV series that have infiltrated pop culture. It's this kind of innovation that makes today the true golden age of television, where viewers can connect with the content they love on many different platforms."

In addition, Time Warner Cable will host a national sweepstakes for a chance to win a walk-on role on the fifth season of 'Hot in Cleveland'. More information will be available in the upcoming weeks on Time Warner Cable Exclusives.

Customers across the TWC footprint can view the TV spot on TWC's YouTube channel www.youtube.com/twc.
