Chipzilla Attacks Your Living Room

Intel plans to be the newest entrant into the battle for your living room with the introduction of its own set-top box and service to offer enhanced viewing and compete with Apple TV. The downturn in the PC market, and thus sales of the chips that power them, is one of the most covered stories of the last year -- earlier this week, Gartner released new sales projections showing a 10.6% decline in PC sales. The company has been affected by slowdown, and, having struggled to get sales from mobile, the company needs a win.
