Toyota (NYS: TM) reported earnings on June 24. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS details
EPS came in at $2.01. The two earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ averaged $1.71 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $2.01 for Q4 were 109% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.96 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.97 for Q4 were 111% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.46 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 17.9%, 460 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 8.6%, 440 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 5.4%, 330 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)

Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $59.00 billion. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $2.59.
