MGM Resorts doesn't have the flashy management that's made gaming companies famous, and CEO James Murren has taken a quieter role in the industry. But he has guided the company through the financial crisis and now has a huge growth opportunity on Cotai. But he isn't the only person investors need to watch.

Kirk Kerkorian has set the vision for MGM for decades, and after selling shares in 2012 he has changed his mind in 2013, raising his stake from 18.6% to up to 25%. Gaming analyst Travis Hoium covers the company's management in the following video.
