FelCor Sets Dividends on 2 Series of Preferreds

Luxury hotel REIT FelCor Lodging Trustannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividends for two series of preferred shares. For its Series A cumulative convertible preferred stock, it would pay $0.4875 per share, while on its 8% Series C cumulative redeemable preferred stock it would pay $0.50 per depositary share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividends for both preferred stocks are payable on July 31 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 15. The real estate investment trust suspended the payment of dividends on its common stock in 2009 to preserve liquidity. It also suspended the payout on its preferred stock later that year, but it reinstated the dividends in 2011.
