Chico's Keeps Dividend Steady

Woman's clothier Chico's FASannounced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.055 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 4.8% from $0.0525 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 30 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 16. The women's fashion house has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2010.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.22-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.3% based on the closing price of Chico's FAS stock on June 28.
