Under the Dome is also available for purchase and download exclusively on Amazon Instant Video

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- (NAS: AMZN) —Starting today, Prime members will have exclusive online subscription streaming access to current, in-season episodes of Under the Dome, the highly anticipated CBS series based on the popular Stephen King novel of the same name. As previously announced, Prime Instant Video will be the only online subscription service to stream episodes of Under the Dome, just four days after they air on CBS. To see a list of other TV shows available for unlimited streaming on Prime Instant Video, visit www.amazon.com/primevideoexclusives.

Amazon Prime members can enjoy Under the Dome, and any of the other 41,000 titles in Prime Instant Video, on hundreds of compatible Amazon Instant Video devices, including Kindle Fire HD, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Roku, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii U gaming console. Episodes of Under the Dome will also be available for purchase and download exclusively at Amazon Instant Video (www.amazon.com/instantvideo).

Under the Dome tells the story of a small New England town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. Under the Dome earned widespread critical acclaim and #1 best-seller status when it was first published by Simon & Schuster's Scribner in 2009, and was an Amazon.com bestseller in both Books and Kindle Books in 2009.

"Stephen King's stories have entertained readers for decades and Under the Dome has been a very popular book with Amazon customers," said Brad Beale, Director of Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon. "We're excited to offer this highly anticipated CBS series exclusively to Prime customers at no additional cost during its current television season. Prime members are going to love being able to watch all the episodes on hundreds of compatible devices including Kindle Fire, iPad, PlayStation 3, Xbox and Roku."

Earlier this month, Amazon announced a digital video subscription deal with Viacom, bringing hundreds of top kids shows like Dora the Explorer, Go Diego, Go!, and The Backyardigans exclusively to Prime Instant Video. Later this year, Prime Instant Video will become the exclusive home to all three seasons of PBS's Downton Abbey. To sign up for Amazon Prime, visit www.amazon.com/primevideos.
