First American Title Insurance Company Unveils myFirstAm™ Application for Android™
SANTA ANA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First American Title Insurance Company,a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services and the largest subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation (NYS: FAF) , today announced the release of its mobile version of themyFirstAm™ application for Android.
myFirstAm is a Web portal designed to provide users with easy access to title order status, property information*, and other tools and resources involved in completing a real estate transaction.
From the app, users may check title and escrow order status; review transaction documents; place customer service requests; calculate estimated title insurance and closing fees; generate a property search based on current location or address; access recently viewed property searches; plot comparable sales on an aerial map; email property reports; view transaction history, including foreclosure activity; and access property data such as legal descriptions, parcel and tract information, tax information, property characteristics, transaction history, comparable sales, recorded documents and plat maps.
