Campbell Soup Keeps Dividend Level

Updated

Campbell Soup is continuing to pour a nice comforting bowl of dividend for its investors. The company has declared a quarterly payout of $0.29 per share, to be paid on July 29 to shareholders of record as of July 8. That amount matches each of the firm's previous distributions stretching back to January 2011. Prior to that, it handed out $0.275.

This will be the first dividend payment made this year by Campbell Soup. Last December, it "advanced" a disbursement planned for early the following year.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.16 per share. That yields 2.6% at Campbell Soup's current stock price of $44.36.
