MetLife Declares Fresh Dividend

Updated

MetLife is continuing to dole out dividends for its shareholders. The company has declared its latest quarterly distribution, which is to be $0.275 per share handed out on September 13 to shareholders of record as of August 9. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was paid earlier this month. Prior to that, the company paid $0.185 per share.

The upcoming payout will be the insurer's third since switching to quarterly distributions from annual ones at the beginning of this year.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.10 per share. That yields 2.5% at MetLife's most recent closing stock price of $44.82.
