Updated

W.P Carey is shelling out a few more coins to reward its shareholders. The company has declared a $0.84-per-share dividend for its Q2, which will be paid on July 15 to shareholders of record as of July 1.

That amount represents a modest increase of $0.02 per share over the REIT's most recent distribution of $0.82, handed out in April. W.P. Carey has now lifted its regular payout for 49 consecutive quarters. It has risen particularly steeply since the beginning of 2012, when the firm paid $0.563 per share.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $3.36 per share. That yields 5.2% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $64.35.
