NTS Connects First Fiber Customer in Abilene, Texas

LUBBOCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NTS, Inc., f/k/a Xfone, Inc. (NYSE MKT/TASE: NTS) ("NTS" or "the Company") announces that it has connected its first fiber customer in Abilene, Texas further expanding the Company's fiber-to-the-premise Network ("FTTP").

The Abilene build out is a "metro build" targeting more than 1,000 business customers and modeled after the Company's metro build in Wichita Falls, Texas. NTS began its sales and marketing efforts in Wichita Falls in October 2012 and has seen high demand from businesses in that market. To date, NTS has established its fiber network in the towns of Lubbock, Wichita Falls, Levelland, Smyer, Wolfforth, Littlefield, Burkburnett, Brownfield, Whitharral, Slaton, Meadow, Wilson, Lamesa, Ropesville, Plainview, Hale Center and Iowa Park, Texas. Additionally, the Company has begun construction of its fiber network in the town of Hammond as well as other communities in Louisiana. NTS' ongoing fiber build out, when completed, is expected to reach 19 new communities, bringing the Company's total FTTP passings to more than 53,000.
