Men's Wearhouse Keeps Dividend Steady

A day after sacking the company founder, men's clothier Men's Wearhouseannounced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.18 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past six quarters.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Sept. 27 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 17. The clothier has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2006.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.72-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.9% based on the closing price of Men's Wearhouse's stock on June 19.
