WD-40 Keeps Dividend Steady

Updated

Specialty consumer-goods maker WD-40announced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.31 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 7% from $0.29 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 31 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 16. The maker of the eponymous lubricant has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1973.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.24-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.2% based on the closing price of WD-40's stock on June 18.
