EPR Properties Sets Dividends for Common and Preferred Shares

Specialty REIT EPR Properties announced yesterday its monthly dividend payment for June of $0.2633 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after it switched to a monthly payout schedule. It previously paid dividends quarterly, the last of which was $0.79 per share.

The board of directors said the monthly dividend is payable on July 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28. The REIT has made payouts to investors since 1997.

The board also announced it would pay dividends on three series of preferred shares as follows:

  • 5.75% Series C cumulative convertible preferred, which trades on the NYSE under the symbol EPRprC, $0.359375 per share.

  • 9.00% Series E cumulative convertible preferred, which trades on the NYSE under the symbol EPRprE, $0.5625 per share.

  • 6.625% Series F cumulative redeemable preferred, which trades on the NYSE under the symbol EPRprF, $0.4140625 per share.


The dividends of the three series of preferred shares are all also payable on July 15 to holders of record on June 28.

The regular dividend payment equates to approximate $3.16-per-share annual dividend, yielding 6.2% based on the closing price today of EPR Properties' stock.
