Roper Keeps Dividend Steady

Engineered products manufacturer Roper Industriesannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.165 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 20% from $0.1375 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 26 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 12. The industrial products maker has made quarterly payouts to investors since 2004.

The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.66-per-share annual dividend, yielding 0.5% based on the closing price of Roper Industries' stock on June 17.
