Invesco Mortgage Sets Preferred Dividend

Mortgage-backed securities REIT Invesco Mortgage Capitalannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividend on its 7.75% Series A preferred tock of $0.4844 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past two quarters after raising the payout 1% from $0.4790 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly preferred dividend is payable on July 25 to the holders of record at the close of business on July 1. The Series A preferred stock trades on the NYSE under the symbol IVR-PA.

Invesco also announced a regular dividend on its common stock of $0.65 per share quarterly, which equates to a $2.60-per-share annually, yielding 14.3% based on the closing price of Invesco Mortgage Capital's stock on June 17. The payout will be made on July 26 to holders of record on June 27.
