Checking In

When checking in, all customers should check-in online at FlyFrontier.com before arriving at the airport. Customers who check-in online can save time and money.

At the airport customers will save time by dropping off their checked bags in the designated Bag Drop lane at the Frontier ticket counter. All customers and baggage must be checked-in no later than 45 minutes before flight departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before flight departure for international flights. With busy airports and longer security lines due to increased summer travel, Frontier recommends arriving at the airport at least two hours in advance of all flights.

Customer checking bags will save money when they check-in online at FlyFrontier.com - Frontier customers traveling on Basic and Economy Fare options will pay only $20 to check a first bag when purchased during on-line check-in at FlyFrontier.com. As previously announced, the fee for a first checked bag will increase to $25 when purchased at airport check-in for all Economy and Basic tickets booked on or after June 2, 2013 for travel on or after July 11, 2013.

Classic and Classic Plus tickets continue to receive two free checked bags.

Onboard Beverages

Effective July 1, 2013, customers who purchase Economy or Basic Fare Options will be charged $1.99 for coffee, tea, soda and juice. All on-board purchases require use of a credit or debit card. Non-alcoholic beverages will continue to be free for Ascent and Summit level EarlyReturns® members, as well as for all customers who purchase Classic and Classic Plus Fare Options, when showing a boarding pass or EarlyReturns® membership card.

With these changes, all customers will now receive a full can of soda or juice and customers choosing coffee and tea will be offered free refills. In addition, Frontier will be making improvements to its beverage selection by introducing several premium brands from its home state of Colorado - Celestial Seasonings hot tea, Boyer's Premium 100% Arabica coffee, and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory hot chocolate.

These items join Frontier's extensive onboard catering selection that includes a variety of buy on board snacks and snack boxes, alcoholic beverages, and premium beverages.
