Lifetime Brands Appoints Daniel T. Siegel President; Announces Results of 2013 Annual Meeting

GARDEN CITY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Lifetime Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: LCUT), a leading global provider of branded kitchenware, tabletop and other products used in the home, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Daniel T. Siegel President of the Company.


Since joining the Company in 1992, Dan, age 43, has held various positions, including Senior Vice President - Sales and, most recently, Executive Vice President. He also serves on the boards of directors of Grupo Vasconia S.A.B., Lifetime's 30%-owned Partner Company in Mexico, and GS Internacional S/A, the Company's 40%-owned Partner Company in Brazil.

Jeffrey Siegel, Lifetime's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, commented,

In addition, stockholders ratified the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm for the year ending December 31, 2013.
