Leading French MSP Enhances Monitoring of its Cloud Service Level Agreements with CA Nimsoft Monitor

Coreye Improves Quality of Business-oriented Cloud Services and Anticipates ROI in 18 Months

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CA Technologies (NAS: CA) today announced that Coreye, a specialist in hosting and managing strategic applications, is using CA Nimsoft Monitor to enhance the service quality and reduce the costs of its IT service delivery.

Operating in the highly competitive managed service provider (MSP) market, Coreye selected CA Technologies solution for its ability to unify the monitoring of its IT infrastructure performance. CA Nimsoft Monitor has helped Coreye increase its productivity; Coreye anticipates a return on investment (ROI) within 18 months.

Having realized 15 percent growth in 2012 with a matching forecast for 2013, Coreye sought to differentiate itself from other MSPs. The company established a vertical business strategy focused on developing applications tailored to customers in the healthcare and e-commerce industries, among others. CA Nimsoft Monitor anchors Coreye's new business model.

"Replacing five monitoring products with one allows us to monitor the performance of our entire IT infrastructure. CA Nimsoft Monitor enhances our ability to assure our customers' application service levels and allows us to provide them with detailed reports adapted to the requirements of their specific business," says Camille Cacheux, CEO of Coreye, "For example, whereas e-commerce operators need to verify that each transaction is included in their inventory management, customers in the health industry are focused on the availability of their web portal and the integration of medical analysis data. CA Nimsoft Monitor offers a level of customization that serves as a major differentiator."

CA Nimsoft Monitor manages Coreye's multi-tenant1 IT infrastructure, which is composed of databases, business applications (including UNIX, Linux, Windows and other environments) and more than 1000 components. The solution can scale to monitor more components as needed.

ObjectLine, a value distributor and system integrator for administration solutions, assisted Coreye in the selection and implementation of CA Nimsoft Monitor. According to Philippe Fery, CEO ObjectLine, "CA Nimsoft Monitor offers many advantages. It is notably fast to deploy and particularly well-built for multi-tenant environments. Its multi-platform web console helps provide customized reporting, with the appropriate level of granularity."

Coreye conducted a detailed analysis of the expected ROI of CA Nimsoft Monitor. "The automated control and industrialization of our monitoring processes has stepped up productivity and reduced our costs. The ROI was calculated to be 18 months. After six months in production, I can confirm that figure," said Camille Cacheux. "CA Nimsoft Monitor is a strategic component of our cloud infrastructure. It is indispensable."

"Coreye's experience shows that, in addition to being a highly sophisticated and unified monitoring solution covering a wide range of environments, CA Nimsoft Monitor may also provide a rapid return on investment. That is of particular interest to service providers looking to maximize value from their IT investments," said Jean-François Pruvot, Country Manager, CA Technologies.
