According to a RetailMeNot survey, six out of 10 dads don't even expect to get a gift for Father's Day from their wives or significant others. So if you get him something that didn't cost you a dime, it still might go above and beyond expectations. Here are a few freebies and deals for Father's Day.

Every Mother's Day, Hooters offers moms across the country a platter of free wings, and we imagine few moms actually take advantage. But somehow, it doesn't seem quite so incongruous when Hooters offer a similar deal to dads. The one difference: It's a buy-one-get-one deal, so dad only gets his free wings if he's already ordered another platter of 10 wings. Still, we're sure pops is good for 20 wings, if not more. The deal is good on Sunday only.

Ikea is also offering free breakfast and coffee for dads, just as it did for moms on Mother's Day. But since the breakfast and coffee usually sells for just $2, it's probably not worth the trip to Ikea unless you're also planning on shopping for some furniture.

Given its association with the film "The Godfather," the cannoli is arguably the manliest of desserts, and certainly a fitting gift for dad. The good news is that Italian chain Buca di Beppo is giving dads a free cannoli on Father's Day when you use this coupon. There's no purchase required, so you don't even need to get dinner to score your cannoli.

Last week, Amazon (AMZN) knocked $20 off its full selection of Kindle Fire HD tablets. But Barnes & Noble (BKS) is one-upping Amazon with big discounts on its Nook HD+ (probably because its e-reader business has been struggling lately). For this week only you can get the 16 GB version of the tablet for just $149, marked all the way down from $269; the 32 GB version is reduced from $299 to $179. The deal is good at Barnes and Noble stores and bn.com through Father's Day (Sunday, June 16).

Special thanks to the dealfinders at Freebie Finding Mom and BeFrugal.com for passing along a couple of these deals.
