Upscale-hotel operator LaSalle Hotel Propertiesannounced today its second-quarter dividend of $0.20 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past four quarters after raising the payout 82% from $0.11 per share.
The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on July 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28. The hotel operator has made quarterly payouts to investors since 1998. The regular dividend payment equates to an $0.80-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3.3% based on the closing price of LaSalle Hotel Properties' stock on June 13.
