CapLease Keeps Dividend Steady

Commercial property real estate investment trust CapLeaseannounced yesterday its second-quarter dividend of $0.0775 per limited partnership unit, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the payout 3%, from $0.075 per share.

The board of directors also announced that it was paying dividends for the second quarter on three series of preferred shares as follows:

  • $0.5078125 per share on its 8.125% Series A cumulative redeemable preferred stock

  • $0.5234375 per share of 8.375% Series B Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock

  • $0.453125 per share of 7.25% Series C Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock

The board said all the quarterly dividends are payable on July 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on June 28.


The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.31-per-share annual dividend, yielding 3.6% based on the closing price of CapLease's stock on June 12.
