Wal-Mart is a lot like Clark Kent, with underestimated power and a longing for a flashy transformation to show the world what it's capable of achieving. This week, the discount department-store chain is showing what it can do as it promotes Friday's premiere of Time Warner's Man of Steel.

Wal-Mart is the only place Superman fans can buy tickets to a special Thursday night advance screening at more than 2,700 movie theaters across the country.
